About Fruit Up!
FruitUp! is a 3-year Action co-funded by the European Union, aimed at promoting and showcasing fruits (peaches, nectarines, and apples) in the markets of France and Greece.
About the Campaign
The main goal of the campaign is to enhance the competitiveness and recognition of agricultural products produced in compliance with the strict standards set by the EU. Specifically, the initiative focuses on promoting and showcasing peaches, nectarines, and apples—fruits with unique quality, freshness, and taste characteristics. This initiative has been submitted by the Agricultural Cooperative “ASEPOP Velventos,” based in the Kozani region.

The name “nectarine” comes from the drink of the ancient Greek gods, nectar. Another name for this fruit is the “naked peach”.
